Nynke had a Pinball machine standing in the way at work. It was a 1986 Pinbot in reasonable condition. It hadn't had service in a long time but the playfield and electronics where in good-enough condition. She asked me if I wanted it. After about 3 seconds of thought I said YES! And am happy I did. It rocks! It needed a lot of love and in 2 weeks I spent about 60 hours on it. Things I fixed: * Left flipper rebuilt, it had hardly any power. * Left slingshot fix, it had a burnt-out coil and transistor on the main board. * Fixed 2 loose connections. * Replaced the batteries. * Replaced the original displays with a set from Pinled.de. * New balls. * Cleaned playing field. * Adjusted switches. * Re-aligned skill-shot. * Replaced plunger. * Replaced all rubbers. * Lot's of screws where missing. * Cleaned drop-targets, had goo on the solenoid. * New bolts for the legs, the old ones where missing. * New height adjusters for the legs. * Replaced a bunch of lights. Things still broken/could be done: * Speech, perhaps all sound from the main board. The sound board works fine. (partially fixed) * Read eproms to test them: Read Rom * Top of skill-shot is still broken off. * The coin chutes accept guilders, would be nice to modify them to accept Euro's.
